वैशाखात कित्येक झाडांच्या कोवळ्या पालव्या आपली इवलीशी बोबडी पानं आपल्या फांद्यांवर डोलवताना पाहायला मिळतात.
लाल, गुलाबी, पिवळी, शेदरी न जाणो आणखी कितीतरी अनेक रंगांच्या फुलांची उधळण करणारी झाडं उगाच मिरवताना देखील तुम्ही पाहीली असतीलचं. अंगणातील कुंडीत असणा-या छोट्या छोट्या वेलीवरची छोटी छोटी टपोरी फुलं पाहीली कि, क्षणभर उन्हाचे चटके आपण विसरून जातो.
ह्या कोवळ्या पालव्या, फुलं, वेली वा-यासोबत डोलताना, पाखरांशी गप्पा गोष्टी करताना आपल्या आनुवंशिक्ते सोबतच आपलं स्वतःचं असं वेगळं अस्तित्व देखील अधोरेखीत करण्याचा प्रयत्न करीत असतात. आपल्या सुगंधाच्या रंगांच्या एक एक बिंदूने आकार तयार करतात व हाच आकार अवकाशाचा एक मोठा भाग संम्मोहित करण्याचा प्रयत्न करीत असतात. ओसाड माळरानावर अजुनही करपलेला कचरा तसाच आहे. परंतु त्यातही गवताच हिरवंगार पातं लक्ष वेधून घेतच आहे.
त्यातच पावसाळा येण्याची चाहूल बहुतेक सर्वच प्रणीमात्रांना झालेली आहे. कारण सुगरण खोपा विनण्यात गुंग आहे, कुठेतरी सुतार पक्ष्याची टकटक चालुच आहे, एव्हाना मुंग्यांनी आपली गोदामं भरली सुध्दा असतील आपल्या त्या वेड्यावाकड्या वारूळातली. मधमाशांची तारांबळ उडाली आहे उंच झाडावर आपलं मधपोळ बनवण्यासाठी पण या गडबडीतही त्यांच्या बांधकामाचा एकही षटकोन चुकत मात्र नाही. बनवणारे आपलं काम अविश्रांत करीतच आहेत. घरट बनवण्याची खटपट न करणारी कोकीळ आपल्या आवाजाने वातावरणात साज भरतच असते. आपापल्या कलेत निपुण असणारे असे सगळे जण आपली कला सहजतेने साकारताना दिसतात. कलेचा हा असा आविष्कार आनंदासाठी होत असतो त्यात उगाच खोटं तत्वज्ञान सांगण्याचा प्रयत्न नसतो.
या अशा अनेक कलाकारांनी साकारलेल्या कलाकृतीतुन हा निसर्ग सजत असतो, नटत असतो. पाहाणा-याची दृष्टी, कान सुंदर करण्याचे काम या कलाकृती करीत असतात. पु. लं च् एक सुंदर वाक्य आहे. " जीवन सुंदर व्हावं. जगणा-याला जिवन मनोरंजक वाटावं. आपली जीवनयात्रा ही आनंद यात्रा आहे असं वाटावं. हिच मुळ कल्पना कलेच्या निरनिराळ्या क्षेत्रात वावरताना येणं गरजेच आहे."
माणसांने या सगळ्यातुन प्रेरणा घेऊन तो आज कलेची अनेक क्षेत्र पादाक्रांत करीत आहे. मजल दरमजल त्याची ही भ्रमंती अजून पुढे जात आहे. कला मग ती साहित्य, संगीत, नाट्य, चित्र या कोणत्याही प्रकारात मोडणारी असो ज्या दिवशीपासून त्याने ती अंगीकारली आहे.
या दिवसापासून आजपावेतो साधनेच्या जोरावर कलेला पैलु पाडण्याचे काम माणसाने मोठ्या कौशल्याने केले आहे. आपल्या साधनेची श्रीमंती अधिक वाढावी म्हणून माणसाने आपल्याला अवगत असणा-या कलेची सुत्र आपल्या पुढच्या पिढीला देऊ लागला.आणी हिच सुत्र अंगीकारण्याचा प्रवास फारच सुंदर असतो. लहान मुलं व्यक्त होण्याच्या प्रक्रियेस निरीक्षणातुन सुरवात करतात. उदाहरणा दाखल चित्रकला घेऊ चित्रकला हे मुलांना व्यक्त होण्याचे एक प्रभावी माध्यम आहे. कारण मुलांना जेव्हा बोलताही येत नसतं तेव्हा ते चित्राच्या माध्यमातून व्यक्त होत असतात. भिंतीवर, कागदावर उपलब्ध होणा-या कोणत्याही वस्तूवर निरनिराळे आकार काढत बसतं त्यात त्याला आनंद वाटतो.
रंगखडूच्या निरनिराळ्या रंगछटा ते डोळ्यांनी आत्मसात करीत असतं. आणी हे सगळं होत असते ते उत्स्फूर्तपणे. हेच घडत असत संगीताच्या बाबतीत, बाल मनातला नाटकारही असाच घडत असतो. ज्याला ज्या जे वातावरण घरात मीळत त्या वातावरणाशी ते मुल एकजीव होण्याचा प्रयत्न करीत असतं. मुलांना प्रश्न विचारण्याची एक चांगली सवय असते. जोवर त्यांच्या शंकेच निरसन होत नाही तोवर ते प्रश्न विचारून भांबावून सोडतात. मेंदूत नवनवे प्रश्न निर्माण होणं हे सजीवपणाच्या इतर लक्षणापैकीच एक आहे. त्यामुळेच पालकांनी त्यांच्या या सततच्या प्रश्नांना कंटाळून न् जाता मुलांना समर्पक अशी उत्तरं देणं गरजेचं आहे. वर म्हटल्याप्रमाणे प्रमाणे निरिक्षणातुन घडणारा त्याचा मेंदू जे मीळेल त्या विचारांची, आकारांची, रंगांची, शब्दांची व सुरांची शिदोरी बांधायला घेतं. आणी म्हणून पालकांची येथे मोठी जबाबदारी असते कि,
मुलांना सुंदरतेच्या शोध कार्याला लावणे. जेणेकरून सौंदर्याची नजर तयार होण्यास मदत होईल. हिच सुंदरता नजरेत बसली कि, मुलांचे विचार सुंदर व्हायला वेळ लागत नाही. आणी एकदा का विचार सुंदर झाले कि, हेच सुंदर विचार त्यांच्या कलेत उतरत असतात. मग कोणतीही कला त्यांच्या अंगी असु द्या ती सुंदरच होईल. मुलांना त्यांच्या या कलेच्या जगात मनसोक्त बागडण्याचे सामर्थ्य पालकांनी तयार करून द्यायचे असते. त्यात उगाच शाळेतले गुण, इतरांशी तुलना अशा निरर्थक निकश लावत बसु नयेत.
कलेच्या बाबतीत फार कमी मुलं "Gifted" असतात. सुरवातीला सांगीतल्याप्रमाणे माळरानावरील करपलेल्या कच-यात लक्ष वेधून घेणा-या गवताच्या हिरव्यागार पात्याप्रमाणे. म्हणून माझ्या पाल्याने हे असच केलं पाहीजे सा हट्ट धरणे योग्य नाही. त्यामुळे मुलं हिरमुसून जातात.

आज जगात स्वप्न विकणा-यांची फार मोठी गर्दी झाली आहे. मोठ्या शिताफीने ते त्यांच म्हणणं आपल्या गळी उतरवत असतात. पण त्यांना बळी न पडता आपल्या घरातील कुंडीत फुललेले हे फुल अधिकाधिक कसे बहरेल या साठी प्रयत्न करणे गयजेचे आहे.
English Translation
In the month of Vaishakh (2nd month as per Hindu calendar),you can see the young leaflets of many trees swaying their tender leaves on their branches.
You may have seen red, pink, yellow and many other colorful flowering plants. When we see the tiny little flowers on the small creepers in the courtyard, we forget the scorching rays of the sun for a moment.
These tender blooms, caterpillars, flowers, creepers, swaying in the wind, chatting with birds, try to underline their own unique existence with a touch of their individuality.
They create shapes with the colors of their fragrances and try to hypnotize a large part of the space. Along with this there is still scrap lying on the deserted orchard. In that, the tender green leaves are catching our attention.
In addition, almost all animals are getting prepared for the onset of monsoons. We come to know when we see the weaver bird is engrossed in weaving her nest, somewhere the carpenter bird is buzzing, by now the ants must have filled their go-downs in those crooked anthills! A string of bees has flown to build its hive on a tall tree, but even in this mess, not a single hexagon of their construction is missing. The makers are working tirelessly. The cuckoo, which does not struggle to make a nest, fills the atmosphere with its sound. Everyone who is proficient in their art is seen realizing their art easily. This invention of art is for their own pleasure and delight. There is no unnecessary intent to tell false philosophy. The works of art created by many such artists adorn and nurture our nature.
These works of art work is to beautify the eyes and ears of the beholder.
There is a beautiful sentence said by P. L. Despande.
"Life has to be beautiful. Life should be interesting for the living ones. Our life journey should be a joyous one. This core idea has to come from working in different fields of art."
Inspired by all this, the human is stepping into many fields of art today. His wanderlust continues. Art, be it literature, music, drama, painting or any other genre from the day he has adopted it. Till today, with intense devotion, human has skilfully tried to find different dimensions in art. In order to increase the richness of our tools, he started giving the secret of art that we are aware of to our next generation. And this journey of adoption is a very fascinating one!
Children begin to express through observation. Let's take an e.g., Painting is an effective way for children to express themselves. Because when children can't even speak, they express themselves through pictures. They enjoy drawing different shapes on the wall, or anything that is available on paper. Absorb the different shades of color with his eyes. And it all happens spontaneously. This is what happens in the case of music as in the child's mind. The child is trying to become one with the environment which he finds comfortable with 'at home'. Children have a great habit of asking questions. They keep asking questions until their doubts are resolved.Having multiple questions,itself is a sign of vitality. That is why parents need to give relevant answers to their children without getting bored of their constant questions.
As mentioned above, his brain, which is formed by observation, begins to form a chain of thoughts, shapes, colors, words and melodies. And so parents have a big responsibility here,
To get their children involved in the quest for beauty.It will help to develop a sense of beauty. Once that is done , it doesn't take long for their thoughts to become beautiful. And once the thoughts become beautiful, these beautiful thoughts come down in their art. Then whatever art they have, it is going to be beautiful!
Parents need to empower their children to wander in the world of art. It should not be biased by meaningless criteria of school marks and comparison with others.Very few children are "gifted" when it comes to art. As mentioned earlier, it is like a green leaf of grass that gets attracted in the dry shrubs. So it is not correct to be stubborn as to what your child should do and not do, because of which they become demotivated.
